The following donation*  was made by Pirates Cove, LLC (owner of property) to Diane Burningham, Managing Director of AteamBC-- a nonprofit, 501c3 tax Exempt Corporation. The donation was made for the sole purpose of raising funds for Ateam, to effectively increase the reading skills of kids and youth who struggle academically. AteamBC is a unique children’s literacy program that combines academic tutoring and functional neurology to give underprivileged kids more opportunity and hope of a better life. 100% of the profits go to help them. Your purchase is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Based solely on the availability of Pirates Cove, the three nights stay needs to be booked within 30 days from purchase for three consecutive nights sometime within 12 months.

Pirates Cove sits on unbelievable landscape overlooking the South end of Lake Mead. There are hidden Pirate’s Treasures for each person to explore, play, hike, sit, dream and discover at every possible turn. The property includes:

The property arrangements and payment for the Resort stay were made through a related entity, Elite Rentals, LLC. Payment has been made by Diane Burningham, Executive Director of AteamBC. She owns the 3-night stay at Pirates Cove and is releasing it in order to get funding for AteamBC. The retail value of a 3-night stay is $30,000.

For the first 225-325 donations of $100 between now (June 2020) and January 31st, 2021 we will enter your name into a drawing for a free three-night stay at a unique resort (Pirates Cove, www.elite-getaways.com/pirates-cove/) Drawing will not be held until at least 225 donations of $100 each are received. We will cut off the drawing at 325 to make the odds of winning better for you.

 

If the minimum of 225 donations are not received by October 31st, 2019, then entry into the drawing (by donating $100 or more) will continue until the minimum number (225) is met, OR until midnight December 31, 2019, whichever comes first. If at least 225 donations of $100 have not been received by the close of this day (December 31, 2019) this particular “Thank-YOU Gift” campaign is officially over and a drawing for the three nights stay at Pirates Cove will not take place at that time. If the same offer is made in the future it will not include the donors who participated in this particular campaign unless they donate again to the new “Thank-YOU Gift” campaign within the time period designated by the new campaign.

 

If a person donates $200 their name will be entered twice and ten times if a thousand dollar donation is made (etc.)

 

There will be no refund of donated money if the drawing is not held because the minimum number of donations is not received.

By entering the fundraising campaign through my donation I accept and agree with the official rules of this fundraising campaign and understand that most importantly my nonrefundable donation goes towards a movement to wipe out child/teen illiteracy. I understand that by donating I may not receive anything in return (other than a great feeling for helping improve a child’s life), although I may, as specified in the official rules, receive a chance to win a prize. The drawing will be conducted by an Ateam board member within one week of campaign closing date. If my name is drawn I am the prize winner and will be contacted and instructed as to how to redeem my Thank-You Gift by an AteamBC administrator within one week of the drawing.---------------(End of Official Rules)

It’s important to let everyone know--your family, social media followers, friends, neighbors, co-workers, BFF, email address list, the guy/gal on the street, everyone you know (or don’t know) about this campaign so that the 225 donation minimum is met. When minimum is met and at the end of our campaign we will have the drawing and award the $30,000 prize! The resort sleeps 50 (family members) or 40 (corporate or other event participants) so stay on everybody’s good side and get invited if they win!

 

Your donation goes to an unhappy child who is at risk of dropping out and right now is struggling with school, learning, friends, and physical activities (Poor reading skills and these issues usually go hand in hand). Functionally illiterate kids/teens future success depends on you. There is nothing better than the feeling that comes from helping them!
